Maple Leaf Festival® - BBQ Cook Off

Do you have what it takes to serve up Carthage's best barbecue? The Maple Leaf Festival® BBQ Contest returns to Central Park on Saturday, October 10th, and organizers are inviting pitmasters, backyard BBQ enthusiasts, and first-time competitors to join the fun.
This year's contest features a pork-only competition with categories including pulled pork, pork ribs, pork butt, pork belly, pork shoulder, and other creative pork entries. Best of all, there is no cost to enter, and competitors will have the chance to earn bragging rights, awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus the coveted People's Choice Award, voted on by event attendees.
Set-up may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. under the tent, with judging starting at noon. Whether you're a seasoned BBQ master or simply love sharing your favorite smoked recipes, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills as part of the Maple Leaf Festival®. Gather your team, fire up the smoker, and bring your best pork creations. We can't wait to taste your best BBQ!
