Maple Grove Days Rotary Bed races sponsored by the RCMG

The annual bed race for Maple Grove Days is run on main street in front of the Government Center, Beds are sponsored by local businesses or any community group and pushed by people interested in pushing a bed. The beds are pushed through an activity filled obstacle course. The purpose of the event is to raise donations to help provide beds to local families in transition or in need, as well as providing a fun family event during Maple Grove Days. We work in collaboration with CROSS Services. Every penny raised goes to the Peace of Mind Housing Fund at CROSS Services. The Rotary Club of Maple Grove builds 20 to 25 beds for children which includes the matress, sheets, pillows, blankets, books and a teddy bear.
