Thursday at the Washington County Fair is Maple Day, and kids are in for a sweet adventure! The Upper Hudson Maple Producers Association invites families to take part in the annual Maple Day Scavenger Hunt, a fun and interactive way to explore the fairgrounds. Children ages 13 and under who complete the hunt will earn a free maple ice cream cone, a tasty reward for a job well done.
Scavenger Hunt Cards can be picked up at the fair gates on Thursday on your way in, or you can download and print your card ahead of time at https://upperhudsonmaple.com/maple-syrup-producers/fairs-and-events/.
While Maple Day is the perfect time to stop by, the Maple Building is open all week long with something for everyone. Visitors can meet real maple producers, learn how maple syrup is produced, and shop for maple goodies like syrup, candy, and creamy maple ice cream.
