Ensuring County Business Enterprise (CBE) Program Compliance on Municipal Projects
About the Event
The Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) will host a CBE program compliance training for municipalities with Interlocal Agreements (ILA) executed with MAP Broward. Municipalities are required to comply with Broward County’s CBE requirements whenever CBE goals are established on surtax-funded projects. This training will introduce municipal staff to the compliance process, from solicitation to project closeout - and explain how to effectively work with OESBD at each stage of any surtax-funded project. We will review each compliance framework milestone and provide key guidance to facilitate consistent alignment with CBE requirements.
