Yara Ulcay:

Yara Ulcay is a yoga expert with more than 30 years of Yoga experience. Her journey started in 1989 with Regina Shakti, with whom she received her first certificate and following this training she started teaching Hatha Yoga in 1992, in Brazil. She moved to Istanbul in 1995, at that time yoga was not yet known in the country and she was one of first teachers to introduce Yoga to the public.
Through the years she accumulated practice and training with several well-known masters around the world, and also received long training with Senior teacher Hart Lazer, completing 500 +100 Hours Yoga Alliance - Advanced Yoga Specialization Program, over a period.of 6 years.
Yara leads Prenatal Yoga sessions since 2002, and Kids Yoga sessions since 2004.
She is a Teacher Trainer, educating a new generation of Yoga instructors since 2012. Yara studies, practices and teaches Meditation and Yoga Philosophy for more than 24 years. She is fascinated by the ancestral universal knowledge, and believes it to be both the tool and the goal of a yogi’s journey. She received several initiations into Bhakti Yoga and Kriya Yoga from 3 different lineages. She has been privileged to encounter Enlightened Masters, such as Kriya Yogi. Yara is also a trained and certificated Atma Kriya Teacher, and she holds certifications in several other related practices.
