This is one of the most famous mantras and honors the light of the Sun and invokes wisdom and enlightenment.
One translation of mantra is to cross over the mind. Like a train crossing over the tracks these sacred sounds clear and calm the mind while also invoking specific aspects of ourselves.
In this workshop with Casey Shaw, you’ll practice pranayama, learn the Guru Mantra, open your heart, and learn to chant one of the oldest and most revered mantras
Designed for both newbies to Kirtan as well as seasoned Bhakti Yoga practitioners, this special event will include pranayama, chanting and meditation. Casey has been chanting mantras most of her life and loves to share music with others. Casey offers Live Music for Yoga classes, special events, private mantra and harmonium lessons and Kirtan Jams monthly at Yoga Loft Tucson.
