On Sunday, February 23 at 2pm, the Tucson J's Celebration of Heritage Concert Series will proudly present “The Beautiful Blue Danube” performed by Arizona Symphonic Winds and led by László Veres, Conductor & Music Director. The concert will feature soprano Dori Cardeñas-Smith, singing "Vilja" from The Merry Widow, "Climb Every Mountain" from The Sound of Music, and more. Don't miss an afternoon of timeless tunes that will stay with you long after the final note!The Arizona Symphonic Winds, under the direction of László Veres, is Southern Arizona’s Premiere community concert band. Comprised of 65 volunteers, this musical organization presents concerts throughout the Tucson area and has been doing so for over seventeen years. Included in its repertoire are Broadway show tunes, orchestral transcriptions, movie themes, marches, and traditional band literature.
Advance tickets are $10 each or $12 at the door!
