P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Manoush Zomorodi to celebrate and discuss her new book ; a timely investigation into how screens and sitting are silently reshaping our bodies—and how a simple shift can change everything.
Manoush will be joined in conversation by Debbie Millman. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Manoush will also sign copies of her book.

Doors open at 6:30pm with the talk starting closer to 7pm. Come early and drab a drink from the P&T Cafe!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Manoush Zomorodi (muh-NOOSH Zoh-moe-road-ee) is an award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and host of NPR's “TED Radio Hour,” where she explores fascinating ideas with the world's greatest thinkers. Her "Body Electric" project, a groundbreaking collaboration between NPR and Columbia University Medical Center involving over 20,000 participants, represents one of the largest public health studies of its kind. A 2025 Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center resident, she has established herself as a pioneering voice in examining technology's impact on our humanity. Her first book, Bored and Brilliant (St.Martin’s Press; 2017) and TED talk about the attention economy (6+ million plays) made her a go-to expert for understanding our screen-saturated age. She’s earned two Gracie Awards for “Best Radio Host” (2014, 2018), a Webby Award for “Best Podcast Host” (2020), and recognition as one of Fast Company's “100 Most Creative People in Business” (2018). Under her leadership, “TED Radio Hour” won the 2023 Ambie Award for Best Knowledge, Science & Tech podcast, while her previous show “Note to Self” was named Best Tech Podcast of 2017 by the Academy of Podcasters. Debbie Millman is an author, artist, educator, designer, and host of the Webby award-winning podcast Design Matters, one of the first and longest running podcasts in the world. She is also Chair of the first-ever Masters in Branding Program at the School of Visual Arts, Editorial Director of PrintMag.com, co-publisher of TheRumpus.net and the author of eight books. Debbie is the recipient of a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award and a Lifetime Achievement award from AIGA, the Professional Association for Design. She is currently a Harvard Business School Executive Fellow.
