The documentary recounts the life story of Mark and Yoriko Smith, a couple who lost their 10-month-old son to a rare heart condition in 2000. Devastated by their loss, the couple were faced with a lifelong, near-impossible grieving process. Despite the endless mental health battles, Yoriko and Mark always had each other to rely on, with their love guiding them one day at a time. Two decades later, the couple established 'Manleigh', a Leigh-based mental health group, channelling their grief into good in the hope of helping others.

is a community organisation supporting men in Leigh and the surrounding area who may be experiencing isolation, mental health challenges, or difficult life circumstances. It provides a safe and supportive space where men can access one-to-one mentoring, peer support groups, and practical help, often through referrals from services such as GPs, hospitals, or family members. The organisation focuses on building genuine relationships and supporting each individual for as long as they need to improve their wellbeing and confidence.
