We started the Mankato Dance Festival to create a space where students, teachers, companies, and anyone who loves to move can come together, take class, and truly connect. Mankato deserves a dance festival of its own—one that reflects the creativity, passion, and potential of our community.
Our goal is to bring people together through a wide variety of dance styles, performances, and voices, making sure there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or stepping into a studio for the first time, you are welcome here.
This festival is about more than just dance—it’s about building relationships, supporting one another, and growing together through movement. Let’s dance, grow, and connect right here in Mankato!
