About this Event

Manjushri Empowerment: Wisdom meets Compassion
Saturday, April 5 - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Wisdom is a virtuous intelligent mind that sees through the superficial veneer of things to the truth. Wisdom will never deceive us. It is a mind that aligns us with reality, thereby liberating us from ignorance, the source of all our suffering. With wisdom, our mind is always balanced and comfortable.
How can we develop this mind? By tuning in to the Buddha of Wisdom, Manjushri. When we open ourself to receiving Manjushri’s blessings, our mind is empowered to experience real insight into the truth of how things exist.
The empowerment ceremony is a blissful guided meditation transmitted over centuries that draws us into the clear wisdom energy of the enlightened mind itself. During the commentary, Gen Khedrub will explain how we can maintain our connection to the Buddha of Wisdom through meditation on self-generation and mantra recitation, and thereby continuously access our potential for more and more wisdom.
