Why: Create a community based service event targeting hunger locally and internationally
Who: MT youth and JV/varsity family and community members
What:
-International: Partner with the nonprofit Rise Against Hunger. https://riseagainsthunger.org to package 10,000+ meals as a community to children overseas (cost ~$4,100)
-Locally: Use additional funds to package Thanksgiving meals for local families in the community in need. Delivery to local food pantries to distribute to families. Non-perishable food donations will be collected.
