Friends of the Farm bring you the Māngere Bridge Repair Café — Saturday 25th July 2026.
Our 13th!
Do you have any small items that need fixing? Bring them along.
Repair Cafés are free events where local people bring in damaged or broken items and volunteers repair them. This reduces waste, saves money, and raises community awareness about waste.
🛠️ We’ll have skilled volunteers on hand to sew ripped clothes, mend damaged books, and fix small household electrical and wooden items. Bicycles can be checked over, and our tech experts can give you advice for your laptop, cell phone or tablet.
Does your item need a spare part? Please bring the part with you — we only stock a very small selection.
Got a zip to replace? Zips are tricky and time-consuming, so we can’t promise a repair — but we’ll do our best! Please remove the old zip and bring a replacement with you for the best chance of success.
Enjoy a cuppa while you wait. Koha/donation appreciated. ☕🍪
