School holiday - Make a Chopping Board: Power Tools 101, Albany House & Community Hub, Tuesday 14 July, 10am-1pm
Create something useful these school holidays with our chopping board workshop!
Tamariki will learn simple woodworking skills while shaping and sanding their very own board to take home.
They’ll choose their piece of timber, design the shape and transform it into a smooth, ready-to-use board perfect for snacks, fruit or the kitchen.
All skill levels are welcome. It’s a fun way to learn, create and make something they’ll be proud of.
Age Requirement - Strictly 10+
This workshop is strictly for ages 10 and over. Working with power tools requires a certain level of physical strength, coordination and maturity to follow safety instructions carefully. For this reason, we are unable to make exceptions to the age limit. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep everyone safe.
