𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗲 & 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲: 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 for Kids (Ages 8-12)
Do you have a horse-loving kid eager to learn the 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥? Our Mane & More program is designed to teach young horse enthusiasts the 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜—𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙡𝙚!
In this hands-on class, kids will:
𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 – from brushing to haltering.
𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 – understanding equine body language and how to handle horses with confidence.
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 – from nose to tail!
𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 – knowing what’s needed to keep a horse healthy and happy.
⚠️ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Lunch: 12:00 – 12:30)
𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲: Leather boots, steel-toe boots, or hiking boots required. (No rubber boots, Crocs, or unsafe footwear.)
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Plenty of water & a packed lunch for after class.
❌ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:This class is all about responsible horse ownership, care, and handling—not showing, riding, or jumping. Before you ride, you must know how to care for your horse first!
✅ 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Because we will be working with both large and small horses, all children must be mature, respectful, and follow instructions at all times. If a child receives three warnings for unsafe or disrespectful behavior, they will be dismissed from the program with no refund.
This is an exciting, hands-on experience for kids who truly want to understand and care for horses the right way! If your child is ready to take their first steps into the world of horsemanship, this is the class for them!
