This weekend Waterloo Road is taking over The Playground on new Cathedral Street at The Super Duper Family Festival in Manchester! 📚✨Explore a vibrant, family-friendly old-school playground inspired by BBC’s Waterloo Road, right in the heart of the city where the popular drama is filmed.
📸 Take a picture in front of the Waterloo Road iconic stained glass window, created by our very own Art Department.
📀 Mini-School Disco! Dance your heart out in a pop-up disco shipping container.
🎭 Drama Class! Dress up with blazers and ties from our Costume Department, and act out some scenes from the show!
🎨 Art Class! Craft, customize, and create unique pieces like school lockers and stained glass windows.
⚽ PE Class! Spin the wheel and play classic schoolyard games like keepy-uppies and egg-and-spoon races.
🛋️ Sixth Form Common Room! Chill out with table tennis and swing ball.
💛 Snapchat Fun! Come and play the brand new Waterloo Road basketball game on Snapchat.
🤸 Playground Free Play! Build a marble run, try hula hooping, skip rope, or take on giant Jenga.
