About this Event

Strange Britain’s UNSOLVED: Back for Summer 2026 featuring ALL-NEW STORIES

Hot nights. Cold cases.

Join storyteller and raconteur Adrian Finney as he brings a completely new collection of cases for his summer tour extension, featuring unsolved murders, baffling investigations, and crimes that stubbornly refuse to give up their secrets.

Expect gasp-worthy twists, sharp historical insight, and Adrian’s signature wickedly dark, razor-dry humour.

No repeats. No recycled files. Just brand-new stories to excite, shock, and entertain.

While the world outside hums with the sounds of summer and long, bright evenings, inside you’ll uncover:

• Infamous M**der cases that have never seen justice.

• Chilling allegations of killers who may have slipped through the net.

• Cold cases where the truth feels agonisingly close… but forever out of reach.

• Official investigations that sound

completely baffling to modern audiences.

And to keep you on your toes, each city will feature its own unique crime quiz—a chance to test your detective instincts and prove whether you’d crack the case… or contaminate the evidence.

The subject matter may be grim, but the delivery is anything but. You’ll laugh, possibly at the wrong moments, because sometimes the only sensible way to face the darkness is with a smile and laughter.

It’s a heady mix of history, mystery, and macabre mischief, delivered with pace, personality, and just enough irreverence to keep things deliciously entertaining.

Strange Britain’s UNSOLVED — back because crime doesn’t go on a summer holiday.

Join us for a night that’s shocking, smart, and just the right side of wicked.

Please note: these are fully seated indoor events, giving you the perfect excuse to escape the blazing sunshine (or, more likely, the pouring summer rain) and step into something far more sinister.

After a chilling, sold-out Valentine’s run, Strange Britain returns this summer under a newly sharpened name—Strange Britain’s UNSOLVED—a darker, bolder evening of true crime storytelling. This tour began life as "A Very Violent Valentine's: Unsolved."

Your Host:

Adrian Finney is a storyteller based in Sheffield, known for his engaging and ' often humorous approach to the strange and spooky history of the city and wider Britain. He is closely associated with "Strange Britain," the name under which he runs events including the "Strange Sheffield Ghost Tours" and the "Voyage for the Damned - A Ghostly Trip Down The Sheffield & Tinsley Canal."

In August 2025 he did a successful tour, taking one of his true crime nights out on the road, and is looking forward to being able to do that again.

As a storyteller, Adrian delves into ghost stories, local legends, true crime, and the weird, hidden history of the areas he covers. His style is noted for blending historical facts with humour, sometimes dark humour, to create entertaining and memorable experiences for his audience.

In addition to his live events, Adrian Finney is also an author, having written a series of books under the "Strange Britain" title that explore paranormal and unusual tales from across the British Isles, with a particular focus on Sheffield.

His work reflects a deep passion for the weird and the strange, which comes through in his storytelling.
