Manchester Fused Glass Experience

Join us at AWOL Studios on May 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM (BST) for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to create a fused glass heart decoration, with templates provided. Beginners and experienced makers are equally welcome, the small class size means the session adapts to each person’s pace and ideas. Bring your imagination making a truly unique and beautiful peice of glass!

• Learn safe glass cutting and shaping techniques
• Use artist designed templates
• Work with a beautiful selection of coloured glass, frit, stringers and decorative inclusions
• Create your own fused glass piece, in this workshop a heart decoration, with the chance time allowing to make one more fused glass keyring.
• Step‑by‑step guidance from an experienced glass artist
• A calm, friendly studio environment with only four participants per session
• Your artwork will be kiln‑fired in the studio , finished and ready for collection (or can be posted)
• Safety goggles and all tools and materials are included
• Tea, coffee and refreshments included
