The building is not only a state-of-the art space, ideal for tech professionals, but its story is fascinating: it once formed part of Manchester’s telephone exchange and is connected to a network of Cold War-era tunnels. Designed to safeguard the city’s communications during a nuclear attack, these tunnels, declassified in 1968, still operate today, spanning an impressive four miles beneath the city.
