2026 marks the 18th Annual Manatee Center 5K! This Run with a View gets bigger and better every year, we're including a ONE-MILE route again, as well as the Kids Run! This race is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Manatee Center, which supports the operations of the Manatee Center in Fort Pierce. All proceeds stay local and are dedicated to enhancing environmental education through the Manatee Center, focusing on conservation and preservation of the Indian River Lagoon, an estuary of national significance, marine life within the lagoon, and the surrounding ecosystems.
The Friends of the Manatee Center is a 501 (c)(3) organization established to support and enhance environmental awareness, education, conservation, and stewardship of endangered species and natural resources fulfilling its mission through the Manatee Center.
