This FREE training is sponsored by the 10-33 Foundation and is designed to prepare school administrators, educators, counselors and first responders for the inevitable crises that impact schools and those within them. Participants will learn how to effectively manage crisis situations across the three most common phases: pre-crisis planning, acute crisis response, and post-crisis recovery.
Led by nationally recognized instructor Rev. Dr. Naomi Paget BCC, a retired FBI Chaplain and Crisis Interventionist with nearly 60 years of real-world crisis response experience, this training introduces participants to the CISM framework and research-informed intervention techniques that can be practically applied in school settings. Dr. Paget has served at ground zero during national crises such as 9/11, Sandy Hook, the OKC Bombing and Hurricane Katrina, and is widely trusted for her calm, practical approach. Through interactive group activities, attendees will explore effective crisis management strategies that support students, staff, and the overall school environment, while also addressing common pitfalls and liability considerations.
