Managing Our Mental : MENtality Men’s Talking Group Series

MENtality is a confidential, supportive space where Men can speak openly about mental health, identity and life pressures.

This final session in the series, “Letting Go & Letting It Out,” focuses on the emotional, financial and relationship stresses that many men carry quietly for years. Often, men are expected to cope alone, stay strong and keep going, even when they are overwhelmed, hurting or close to burnout.

Over time, unspoken stress can build into anger, anxiety, withdrawal, low mood or physical exhaustion. This session offers space to pause, reflect and release what has been weighing you down.

Through guided discussion and shared experiences, participants will be encouraged to talk honestly about the challenges they usually keep hidden and to explore healthier ways of coping and moving forward.

Topics may include:

• Relationship pressures and heartbreak
• Financial stress and responsibility
• Emotional overload and burnout
• Feeling unsupported or misunderstood
• Struggles with confidence and self-worth

The session is led by Managing Our Mental CIC and combines lived experience with professional, trauma-aware facilitation in a safe, respectful and judgement-free environment.

This session also provides an opportunity to reflect on the journey of the MENtality series and leave feeling supported, lighter and more connected.
