*BASIS Shavano Campus*

Maatlaata is a fun and enriching Telugu language competition that helps students build confidence, language skills, and cultural connection. Last year’s event was a huge success, and we are looking forward to an even more engaging experience this year.

*Padarangam* – SpellingBee
*Tirakaatam*-Jeopardy‑style Quiz
*ONiMa* – One-minute impromptu speech
Students are encouraged to prepare using the official study materials and the *MaayaaDarpanam* practice app available online.

• *Budathalu* (5–7 years) – Padarangam not included

These categories give students a better chance to excel and prepare for the *International Finals*, which will be held in *Charlotte, NC, on August 15–16, 2026.*
