Dare to dream “the impossible dream” with Man of La Mancha, Dale Wasserman’s Tony Award-winning masterpiece. Inspired by Cervantes’ Don Quixote, this celebrated musical invites us into a prison cell during the Spanish Inquisition, where Cervantes spins the tale of Don Quixote to defend his life and art. As Quixote and his faithful squire Sancho embark on their quest to restore chivalry and seek out truth and beauty, reality blurs into fantasy, and we discover that idealism may be the most powerful weapon of all.Featuring iconic songs such as “Dulcinea” and the rousing anthem “The Impossible Dream,” the show stirs the soul and inspires audiences to fight for what matters, no matter the odds. Romantic, dreamlike, and deeply moving, Man of La Mancha challenges us to see the world not as it is, but as it should be.
Please note, this event will take place at our smaller black box theater venue NEW SPIRE ARTS, located across the street from the Weinberg Center.
