Mama, I’m Coming Home marca el regreso de Fernando a los escenarios de San Miguel, su ciudad de infancia, para ofrecer, dentro de una colección selecta de piezas de concierto, el estreno mundial de su propio arreglo para guitarra clásica de la icónica balada homónima del legendario cantautor Ozzy Osbourne.
Fernando de Rocío
Galardonado guitarrista clásico. Comenzó su carrera en la sala de Bellas Artes de San Miguel de Allende, para luego mudarse a la ciudad de México y obtener la Licenciatura como Concertista de la UNAM. Obtuvo la Maestría en interpretación en Canadá, en Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Fernando de Rocío presents an acoustic guitar concert featuring twentieth-century works alongside a carefully curated selection of popular music:
Mexican boleros and rock and pop ballads, transcribed for the instrument and adapted to the language of chamber music.
Mama, I’m Coming Home marks Fernando’s return to the stages of San Miguel, the city of his childhood. As part of a select concert repertoire, he will present the world premiere of his own classical guitar arrangement of the iconic ballad of the same name by legendary songwriter Ozzy Osbourne.
While Fernando is known for his technical precision, his primary goal is to achieve a deeply expressive musical voice through the guitar and to create a genuine connection with his audience.
Fernando de Rocío
Award-winning classical guitarist. He began his career at the Bellas Artes hall in San Miguel de Allende before moving to Mexico City, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Concert Performance from UNAM. He later completed a Master’s degree in Performance in Canada at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
