Mama's Broke is the Canadian folk duo of Amy Lou Keeler and Lisa Maria, known for blending traditional folk from Appalachia, Eastern Canada, Ireland, and beyond into a sound defined by haunting harmonies, fiddle, banjo, and intricate acoustic arrangements. Winners of the Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year for their debut album Count the Wicked and JUNO nominees for Narrow Line, they built their reputation through years of touring and street performing across North America and Europe. Their latest album, Reunion, explores themes of community, resilience, and change while staying rooted in the duo's intimate, harmony driven acoustic sound.
