Mam Tor is a Peak District walking classic - we follow probably the best ridgeline in Derbyshire, with great views of the surrounding countryside.

Mam Tor, meaning 'mother hill', is a 517m hill. The route we follow is 9 miles (14km) and will take around 5.5 hours. The ridge is a nice wide path, making it suitable for those with a fear of heights.
We walk at a steady pace for this hike.
You should have a moderate level of fitness to allow you to complete the ascent.
