This FREE legal clinic provides an opportunity for individuals to learn about how to obtain a divorce without hiring an attorney. Following an educational presentation from Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. regarding how to obtain a pro se (Latin term meaning "for self) divorce, attorneys will be on hand to provide limited legal advice regarding an individual's eligibility to use the pro se divorce forms and answer questions about how to complete the forms.*
Individuals who need legal advice must arrive by 11:30 AM to complete a required intake. Please note attorneys can only provide advice regarding the pro se divorce problem if the individual(s) seeking a divorce is present.
