We are absolutely stoked to announce that we will be playing a special 30th anniversary screening of cult director Kevin Smith's excellent mall-crawling comedy classic, MALLRATS, at Art House Cinema and Pub Wednesday, August 27th as this month's film in our NOSTALGIA NIGHT series! Kevin Smith's early charm, choice editing, nostalgic aesthetic, and wonderful Jay and Silent Bob participation do wonders to make MALLRATS a 90s gem that has forever captured the bygone glory days of the mall, and you don't want to skip its return to the screen at your favorite theatre!
When best friends Brodie and T.S. both get dumped by their girlfriends, they seek refuge from their reality at the mall, but their day gets even worse when T.S.'s girlfriend Brandi goes on a dating game show and Brodie's girlfriend Rene starts dating sleazy manager Shannon. Fueled by spite and love-induced jealousy, Brodie and T.S . make it a personal mission to sabotage Shannon and the game show.
