Mallards DRS Safari Classic – Big Bore Shoot
Join Mallards Shooting Supply & Apparel and the Double Rifle Society for an exclusive celebration of big-bore rifles, safari heritage, and the traditions of dangerous-game hunting. Sponsored by John Rigby & Co. and Hornady, this special event brings together fine firearms, renowned personalities, and a one-of-a-kind shooting experience.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience a selection of double rifles and big-bore bolt-action rifles on Mallards’ state-of-the-art 25-yard and 100-yard indoor ranges, as well as view exceptional safari firearms with remarkable histories.
The event will feature special guest speakers, including Marc Newton, Managing Director of John Rigby & Co., who will present Jim Corbett’s legendary original .275 Rigby rifle, famously associated with his hunts for man-eating tigers and leopards in India. World-renowned Professional Hunter Mark Sullivan will also join us to share stories and insight from a lifetime of dangerous-game hunting.
Dave Fulson of Safari Classics TV will present a special Cape buffalo hunting seminar, sharing his knowledge and experiences pursuing one of Africa’s most iconic dangerous-game species. Guests will also enjoy an informative seminar focused on the use of red-dot sights on big-bore rifles and double rifles, covering their growing role in modern dangerous-game hunting.
Following the shooting experience and semiars, guest will gather for a cocktail hour, and a semi-formal dinner and evening program featuring our special guests.
One of the highlights of the event will be attendees getting a sneak-peak of a brand-new Rigby rifle model. This new Rigby rifle promises to be something special. Watch our social media posts for more information on this exciting opportunity.
