The despondent Malignant Aura returns to haunt Australia's East Coast in April 2026 with their second album - 𝖂𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊 𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖔𝖋 𝖂𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖍 𝕮𝖔𝖒𝖊𝖘 𝖙𝖔 𝖂𝖎𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 - a full-length, harrowing blend of vicious, somber, and triumphant Death Doom. Set for release through Memento Mori (Spain), Grindhead Records & Primitive Moth Records on 26 January 2026, and featuring Paolo Girardi’s imposing artwork and Arthur Rizk’s mastering, those attending the April performances will experience 𝖂𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊 𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖔𝖋 𝖂𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖍 𝕮𝖔𝖒𝖊𝖘 𝖙𝖔 𝖂𝖎𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 played in full, an event unlikely to be repeated.
Malignant Aura's performances bolstered by equally intimidating performances by Australia's best death, doom and black metal acts: Carcinoid (VIC) return to South Australia to once again spread their regunant style of Death Doom; Tzun Tzu with their pummelling, oriental death metal; and Lumen Ad Mortem bring shadow and dim light to the evening.
