Malibu / Ventura / Carpinteria - Out and Back -Start at Leo Carrillo Campground - Sat September 19th

Starting at Leo Carrillo State Park Campground Parking lot in Malibu. Lot opens at 8am. Parking via kiosk is $12.00. We will arrange carpools to starting spot. Free Parking also available on Southbound side of Highway 1.
We meet at around 730am at the Starbucks at Trancas Center 4 miles from Leo Carrillo. Get some celebrity sightings in - Mike from Breaking Bad or Kaitlin Jenner have made recent appearances for us on ride day. Get your coffee and be at Leo gate by 8am
Arrive by 8am - Leo Carrillo Campground Lot and rolling at 8:30am Sharp. They open the gates at 8am and you now pay the ranger - they only accept credit / debit cards. There is also FREE parking on the Southbound side of PCH.
Lunch will be at Padaro Beach Grill in Carpinteria. Lots of great ocean views along the dedicated bike trail that hugs the coast
Sunset at 715pm. 11 hours to complete the ride.
TAILLIGHTS are needed for this ride. Please charge them up and be ready.
This is a very flat century with a one mile climb of 4-7% - Less than 2k of climbing for 100 miles.
Fast ride back with the wind at our back into Ventura / Oxnard and then down PCH to Malibu start.
Ride is 103 miles - 2000ft climbing
After we finish, We have a couple of dinner options.
