This special event will feature a screening of the original film:
“Message to the People: A Story of Malcolm X” — a compelling presentation that explores Malcolm X’s journey, his transformation, and his enduring impact on Black consciousness, self-determination, and global human rights.

Message to the People: A Story of MALCOLM X is a historical dramatization of the life and words of, Malcolm X. This one-hour movie which portrays his image and presents his words as performed by Baba Aundar, is based on the theatrical play which bears the same name

Following the film, engage in a dynamic panel discussion with community leaders, educators, and cultural voices as we reflect on Malcolm X’s teachings and their relevance in today’s world.
