Coming Sunday, we at Macha Jom Tapau are bringing together a delicious spread of Malaysian favourites, lovingly prepared by Chef Muthu, to make our Deepavali (known as Diwali here) celebration extra special 🥰
The menu:
😋 Thosai (rice flour crepes)
😋 Rava Idli (steamed savoury semolina cake)
😋 Mini Roti Canai
😋 Ulunthu Vadai (savoury black gram fritter)
😋 Potato Masala (spiced potato)
😋 Vegetable Dalcha (rich flavourful lentil and vegetable stew)
😋 Prawn Sambal (classic fiery dish in aromatic chilli paste)
😋 Chicken Masala (tender chicken pieces cooked in spiced onion and tomato gravy)
😋 Lamb & Potato Curry (comforting dish with a mix of aromatic herbs and spices)
😋 Deepavali Treats
Come try these comforting classics, rich curries, and all those beautiful flavours that remind us of Deepavali festive gatherings and home-cooked goodness back home in Malaysia.
And of course, what's Deepavali without treats, both sweet and savoury! I'm in the midst of making some 😃
We'll be displaying all the dishes buffet-style, so you can take a look at the spread and serve yourself one generous serving of the dishes you'd love to try 😋
