✨ Malahang Night Lantern Festival is back—bigger, brighter, and more magical than ever! ✨For two nights only, Malahang Reserve will be transformed into a glowing wonderland filled with giant illuminated lanterns, neon performances, and dazzling displays. From 5–10pm, step into a world of colour and light, where every corner has something to discover!
What’s happening?
🎭 Lantern wonderland – Walk through a glowing forest of more than 50 handcrafted lanterns—gum nuts, emus, goannas, butterflies, platypuses, and more—created by the incredible The Lanternist.
🔥 Fire breathers & roving performers – Expect jaw-dropping moments and surprises throughout the night.
🖌️ Neon face painting – Get your glow on with UV face art.
🏌️ Neon mini golf – A playful twist on a classic game.
🎨 Lantern workshops – Make your own lantern from 100% recycled paper and take it home!
💡 First Nations Neon Performance – Don’t miss Neon Ngargee from 9pm! This award-winning performance, directed by Amos Roach, is a breathtaking celebration of Kulin Nations dance and song, with dancers illuminated in neon and ochre under black lights.
🍔 Food trucks – Delicious bites available all night. Just a heads up—there’s no ATM on-site, so bring a card or cash.
