Making Work for your Home and Table with Wendy Werstlein
During this two-day hands-on adventure in cone 6 porcelain or stoneware, Wendy will demonstrate techniques for wheel throwing and altering vessels/tools for everyday use in your home. You’ll learn Wendy’s techniques for creating organic forms that communicate through linear movement and organic patterns.
Wendy Werstlein, owner of Wrenn Pottery, is a Virginia-based ceramic artist working with porcelain clay. She holds degrees in both biology and professional craft and has exhibited her work throughout Virginia and Georgia.
This two-day workshop costs $325 and meets from 10 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, September 12 – Sunday, September 13. Also, join Wendy for a free artist talk Friday, September 11 at 6 PM.
