Wish Pods were created by Lura Faye while she worked on her Masters at Drury. A Wish Pod is a small wire woven vessel that is meant to be given, or left in public spaces, to encourage kindness. Holli Smith, retired art teacher and now local tattoo artist, will be facilitating this class with Lura.
Come join us for a Wish Pod Workshop. Bring a small item that you would like to include inside your pod. If you already have some craft supplies for wire weaving, paper or markers, please feel free to bring them!
Let's cause a ripple effect of warmth and gratitude by creating these random acts of kindness and leaving them for others.
As with all of our Tuesday evening gatherings, these are donation-based classes. While no fee is required, donations to the guest hosts are welcome and appreciated.
