Making Waves for Clean Water

The Dubuque County Democrats are holding a Chautauqua on Sunday August 16th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. to focus on a critical challenge: protecting our water and your vote. A Chautauqua is a community event filled with music, storytelling and big ideas. The event will be joined by Chris Jones, Candidate for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, and the Mississippi Duo.
Activities throughout the afternoon include: ~ Games of skill, daring and chance
~ Water balloons ~ Toilet paper toss (clean of course!) ~ Face painting
~ Candidate speeches on water quality and more!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Hangry Hobo food truck.
Since kids will be returning to school this month, this event will also be a school supply drive! Bring a donation to benefit our local public schools!
Come out and enjoy an afternoon of fun for the whole family!
