The Make Space York project invites you to come along and find out more about the project, and also get involved! Part of York International Women's Week programme of events.
A creative call for change:
Get involved in planning an exhibition exploring how park design affects women and girls' use of space.
AND/or
Come and get involved in the project in general that includes engagement with local girls and the June Festival.
EXHIBITION
Research shows girls' presence in parks declines sharply in teenage years – we want to change this through raising awareness through creative responses including photography, poetry, zines, theatre, and film. Join us to find out more about contributing or planning. You can read more about the call out here

A friendly evening to share ideas and find out more and meet like minded people. Aimed at adults but age 14+ welcome to get involved.
The event is at the York Explore Cafe in Rowntree Park at 7pm. The event is free but please book a space using the link below.
