Make a beautiful wooden pen on the lathe! Wooden pens are straightforward to make, very classy, look great on your desk, are fun to write with, and make fantastic gifts. In this class students will use the wood lathe to shape the basic form of a pen on the lathe and assemble it into a beautiful writing piece.This is a project-oriented class and does not result in certification to independently use the wood lathe. To become certified the lathe students are encouraged to follow up with Wood Turning 101 - Introduction to the Wood Lathe, or book Private Instruction.
