Making Movies ‘Una Vida’ Tour 2026
December 10 · The Great Northern
With support from Jazz Mafia, Rizo and Otis McDonald

Making Movies bring their Una Vida Tour to The Great Northern on December 10, joining Panamanian rhythmic traditions with the grit and expansive sound of psychedelic rock.

Led by Panama-born, Midwest-raised Enrique Chi, the band brings percussion, electric guitars and the mejorana - a traditional Panamanian string instrument - into a sound that moves between cultures and generations. Their new album, Una Vida, explores family, memory and belonging, with collaborations including Kevin Morby and Señor Loop’s Lilo Sánchez.

Jazz Mafia, Rizo and Otis McDonald round out the bill for a Thursday night of live music at The Great Northern.
