Scotland is not a stepping stone: you can build and grow your creative career while staying local.
Be United’s Micro Creative Partnership Conference is coming to Aberdeen on 24 March at The Lime Reserve, bringing together artists, creatives and industry professionals for an evening focused on collaboration, career sustainability and local growth.
Running from 5PM–8PM, the event will feature a practical skills and networking workshop, a panel on building sustainable creative careers within Scotland, and a live showcase spotlighting local emerging talent.

Aberdeen’s main bus routes run through the city centre, with several stops just a short walk from Lime Reserve. Union Street is the closest major bus corridor, typically within 2–5 minutes on foot depending on your stop.
By Train:
Aberdeen Railway Station is the nearest train station, approximately a 15-minute walk from the venue. It connects directly to major cities including Edinburgh and Glasgow.
By Car:
The venue is centrally located, with several nearby public car parks available. On-street parking may be limited and subject to local restrictions, so using a nearby multi-storey car park is recommended.
By Foot:
If you’re already in the city centre, Lime Reserve is easily walkable from key areas.

Through practical exercises and experiential activities, participants will explore how success today is built through collaboration, transferable skills, and meaningful networks not just individual talent.

MAKING IT WHERE YOU ARE: building teams and sustainable careers locally
Info: The panel will explore how artists and creatives can build meaningful, sustainable careers while remaining rooted in Scotland. We’ll be discussing the importance of building a scene, prioritising collaboration over competition and strengthening the ecosystem of local venues, collectives and labels. We’ll also look at sustainability and how artists can develop more revenue streams, planning for long-term growth.

ARTIST SHOWCASE
Info: Music artists will be showcasing their work in front of an audience of industry professionals and artist network. The artists drawn for the showcase will receive studio time, and a professional photoshoot sponsored by Be United and will be added to the talent pool for the upcoming Be United presents shows.
