In this workshop, you'll learn some basic digital graphic design techniques so that you can make posters for anything - your business, your event, or your friends! You can do it without generative AI and it's numerous downsides!
We'll cover many key basics:
- How to use free tools like Canva, Google Slides, and Adobe Express
- Learn how to organize information on a poster for easy readability.
- Learn how to select colors and fonts for accessibility and aesthetics.
- Learn how to create templates that you can use and reuse.
- Learn basic cropping techniques to incorporate photos into your poster.
- Learn how to bring personal style, texture, mistakes, and humanity to your posters!
