Making Corby Island in Fortnite - Young People 10-16yrs

Join immersive storytellers MBD in sharing Corby’s steel making heritage in your own Corby inspired Fortnite Island. Develop game design skills using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and utilise steelmaking 3D models and assets to build your own unique experience to showcase Corby’s steel making past.

About Steel Town Tales

Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Steel Town Tales is an exciting heritage project focused on uncovering the rich history of steel production in Corby. It spans from early Viking settlers in the 9th century to the peak success of steel making in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and continues through to ongoing production today.

Steel Town Tales will bring the town's history to life with an immersive co-location Virtual Reality (VR) Experience, premiering at the Savoy Cinema from 20th July - 18th August 2024.
