About this Event
A compensation conundrum exists in business today, and the rapidly changing compensation markets and the nature of work requires a different compensation model. A “readiness gap” exists between the changing nature of compensation expectations and strategies – a majority of businesses say this is critical for their success, but few are ready to address this trend. Current markets require that compensation be aligned with organizational objectives, using compensation strategies like immediate rewards for expanding responsibilities, fair pay, and employee engagement. Carol’s presentation offers strategies for maximizing the impact of compensation dollars, and addressing current compensation challenges with innovative solutions. Learning objectives include:
- Understand the changing nature of base and incentive compensation
- Learn strategies for becoming an employer of choice in the construction industry
- Understand shifts in today’s work environment, and new ways of maximizing compensation dollars
- Evaluate differences in “old” and “new” compensation structures, and what that means for the future
