About this Event

Check out the amazing work from attendees of the last session! Look forward to doing these for every session! In the future we hope to properly get everyones socials and links as titles for the video.
AI tools are changing the creative workflow. If you are not good at anatomy, or colouring, or lighting, you can have AI help at just that layer. If you need to resize 40 images, n8n can do that for you. A new client wants to see darker work? You can process your portfolio into a new style for them, to test alignment, incrasing your chance to get hired. You can complete specs, and automate several aspects of the proposal process.

This workshop is designed for artists who want to harness AI as a creative assistant, not a replacement. As such, we will explore:
💡 Ecosystem and Tools - Who is making money and how
"You were right. The ecosystem part did turn into the most valuable. Now when a new news article comes out, I know exactly where to go to test models for free, and how to compare how they work, and where they might be useful in my life" - Rachel Hunter, Palms & Pines Design
- Ecosystem: An update on all the companies, labs, saas products, and which are junk
- Models: Learn the 6 kinds of AI image models, and when to use them
- Ethics & Climate: Get factual information about Ethics and Climate change
💡 Practice and Examples - In person, Bootcamp Style, Hands On
We believe that to really learn you must do. So we have 2 major challenges, one image, and one video, designed to teach you the "hard part" of AI quickly, so after you can feel ready to expand your creativity and productivity.
- Hands-On: 1.5 hours of hand's on practice - two 45 minute challenges
- Live Workflow and Example discussions: Learn how to control AI precisely
- Demonstration: Learn to Peel image apart into layers and props
- Demonstration: A showcase of popular models
💡 Alumni Support Resources - artlab.justingirard.com
After the program, you will be ready to, at your own pace, work though a ton of organized materials. If you have time to catch up on AI, and do take this seriously, then we believe we have mapped the fastest path to mastery. To be clear -- this technology is new, and tools evolving, so this is just our path so far.
- Exampless: 60 Examples, 10 for each model, with more on the way
- Gamefied Challanges: Graduate in Levels, taking on AI skills one at a time at your pace
- Workflows: Once you learn what an AI workflow is, you will be very excited to explore the library of AI workflows
- Insider news: We have a secret newsletter and chat group.
Required: Bring your laptop and curiosity. We will be using replicate.com as a platform in class, but any "model aggregator" is fine to use. If you dont know one, please at least set up replicate.come before showing up!
