Makerspace Members Volunteering for Community Fix-It Day
About this Event
Rockville Makerspace & Tool Library, Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, and Montgomery County Public Libraries are partnering to host a Community Fix-It Day. We are looking for friendly volunteers to join us as troubleshooters, fixers, and tinkererers. Help your neighbors give a second life to their favorite household items—from mending a favorite shirt to troubleshooting a finicky toaster or tightening up a loose chair frame. You don't need to be a professional; you just need a desire to help, problem-solve, and share your skills!
The event runs from 11-3. Come hang out, meet fellow tinkerers, and help us keep usable items out of the landfill!
