Makers Open Studios: Mark Kobasz

Makers Alley, in participation with RAC’s ARTOber, presents the Makers Open Studio Tour experience, offered to the public as a way to learn from masterful artisans and get an in depth look into their studio practice. Throughout the month of October, “mini master classes” from different artsist will be offered each weekend, check out the rest of our events for more opportunities! Works are for sale and commissions are available.

Mark is a multimedia working in a light and airy studio to embolden his creativie process. Learn more about Mark through their artist statement:

“I am an artist & educator who creates beauty and engages with the community. I work with wood, printmaking, and glass in all forms. My work is inspired by minimalism, as well as the animism of indigenous art and architecture.

City and building shapes have appeared in many ways: pedestals for futuristic animals, cast icons of another world, and as layered landscapes in animated prints and drawings. Architectural imagery remains an important catalyst, reflecting my continued passion for urbanism, architecture, and ladders..”
