Maker's Mark Bourbon Tasting on the River

Maker's Mark was created in 1952 by Bill Samuels Sr., the engineer turned craftsman who elevated bourbon with his flavor vision. Margie Samuels created the packaging that would honor her husband's handmade bourbon. The shape of the bottle, look of the label, signature red wax and even the Maker's Mark name are all thanks to Margie.

Bill Samuels, Jr. elevated the brand from a Kentucky favorite to an American icon. His pioneering wood stave finishing set the course for Maker's Mark innovation today.

Smooth, full-bodied flavor and a distinct hand-dipped red wax seal define bottles of Maker's Mark. Join us for a special riverside tasting of this iconic bourbon.

We'll be meeting at Shady Glen, a private club in Prospect, Kentucky. If the weather is nice, we'll do our tasting on the patio, overlooking the Ohio River.

Of course we'll have tasty food and awesome door prizes, as always.
