About this Event
In this hands-on workshop, teens will use provided containers, such as takeaway boxes or sweet tins, as the starting point for a creative design challenge. Participants will learn how to measure an object, make accurate sketches, and use those sketches to plan a simple 3D model.
This workshop introduces the basics of 3D modelling, sustainability, and creative problem-solving while exploring the kinds of tools available through the Cruthu makerspaces in the libraries.
It is ideal for young crafters, cosplayers, makers, tinkerers, and future engineers who are curious about how digital design can support real-world creative projects.
No previous 3D design experience is required.
Collection of designs will be at a later date to allow for printing.
Suitable for teens 13+
